What Eminex collects, why, who it is shared with, and how you stay in control of it.

1. Who we are
Eminex is a product of Brewcode Technologies Private Limited ("Brewcode", "we", "us" or "our"), a company incorporated under the Companies Act, 2013, with its registered office at #198, CMH Road, 2nd Floor, Desk No. 269, Indiranagar, Bangalore, India – 560038. This policy explains how we collect, use, store, share and protect information when you use www.eminex.ai and the Eminex app (together, the "Service").
This policy is written to comply with the Information Technology Act, 2000, the Information Technology (Reasonable Security Practices and Procedures and Sensitive Personal Data or Information) Rules, 2011, and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. We also respect the rights of users under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA).
2. Information you give us
When you create and use an account, we collect:
- Your name and email address.
- Your password, stored only as a one-way bcrypt hash — never in plain text.
- Your mobile number, which we verify by SMS.
- Your organisation name, and each brand's name, website, industry and the answers you give in the discovery interview.
- Files you upload, such as brand images, knowledge-base documents and ad creative.
- Messages you send to support, and feedback you give in the app.
3. Information from accounts you connect
When you connect an account, we collect what that connection needs to work:
- Website and CMS: your site's pages and content, and the credentials or tokens for the connection.
- Google Search Console: search performance data for your sites.
- Google Analytics: read-only traffic and conversion reports.
- Google Business Profile: your listings, posts and reviews.
- Google Drive: read-only access, used only to import the brand files you choose.
- Social profiles and ad accounts: your posts, comments, messages, campaign settings and performance, and the account identifiers needed to act on them.
- Email sending: the relay (SMTP) credentials you provide.
4. Google API data
Eminex's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We use Google data only to provide the features you use it for. We do not sell it, use it for advertising, or use it to train AI models, and people at Brewcode do not read it except with your permission, for security, or where the law requires.
5. Information about your customers
Eminex also handles personal information about people your business deals with — for example leads collected by your ad forms, email subscribers, and people who comment on or review your pages. We process this on your behalf and only on your instructions. You are responsible for having a lawful basis to collect it and for giving those people any notices the law requires.
6. Information collected automatically
- Technical data: IP address, browser and device type, and request logs, used for security, rate limiting and troubleshooting.
- Usage data: which features you use and when, recorded in our own systems.
- Sign-up source: any campaign tags (UTM parameters) on the link you arrived from.
- Website analytics: on www.eminex.ai (not in the app), and only if you accept analytics cookies, Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity record pages visited, clicks and scrolling — see our Cookie Policy.
- Browser storage used by the app — see our Cookie Policy.
7. Payment information
Payments are processed by Stripe. We never receive or store your full card number or CVV. We keep your Stripe customer and subscription identifiers, plan, credit balance and invoice history for billing and statutory record-keeping.
8. How we use your information
We use your information to:
- Provide the Service — run audits, generate content and recommendations, publish and act on what you approve, and report results.
- Verify your identity and keep your account secure.
- Process payments and manage your plan and credits.
- Send service messages such as verification codes, password resets, approvals, reports and billing notices.
- Diagnose problems and improve the Service.
- Prevent fraud and abuse, and comply with the law.
9. What we never do
- Sell your personal information or your customers' information.
- Use your content or your connected-platform data to train AI models.
- Show your data to other customers.
- Send you marketing email without your consent.
10. AI processing
To do its work, Eminex sends the relevant information — for example your brand details, website text, and the content or data a task is about — to AI model providers, which process it and return a result. We use Amazon Bedrock (Amazon Web Services) and the Experiential Labs model gateway, which gives access to models from Google (Gemini), OpenAI, xAI (Grok) and Anthropic (Claude). Results are stored in your Eminex account.
Avoid putting sensitive personal information into prompts, documents or content you ask Eminex to work on.
12. Legal disclosures and business transfers
We may disclose information where the law, a court order or a government authority requires it, and will tell you where we are allowed to. If Brewcode is involved in a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, your information may be transferred, and this policy will continue to apply to it.
13. Security
We protect your information with measures including:
- HTTPS (TLS) for all traffic between your browser, our servers and the platforms we connect to.
- Encryption at rest for our database, backups and file storage.
- Connected-platform credentials encrypted with AES-256-GCM under a key unique to your organisation, never shown in the interface or written to logs.
- Database-level isolation between organisations, so one customer's data cannot be read under another's account.
- Passwords hashed with bcrypt, and short-lived sign-in tokens.
- Role-based access for your team members, and restricted, logged access for our staff.
14. Reporting a security concern
No system is completely secure. If you suspect unauthorised access to your account, email support@eminex.ai straight away.
15. Where your data is stored
Eminex is hosted on Amazon Web Services in the United States (US East, North Virginia). Some of our providers process data in other countries. Where information is transferred outside India or the European Economic Area, we rely on our providers' contractual safeguards, and by using the Service you consent to these transfers.
16. How long we keep information
- While your account is active, we keep your account, brand, content and connection data so the Service works.
- When you disconnect an integration, our access to it ends.
- When your account is deleted, your personal data and content are deleted within 30 days; encrypted database backups are kept for 14 days and then expire.
- Invoices and billing records are kept for as long as Indian tax and company law requires (currently eight years).
17. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you have the right to access, correct, export and delete your personal information, to withdraw consent, and to object to or restrict certain processing. You can update your profile and disconnect integrations yourself in Settings at any time.
To export your data or delete your account, email support@eminex.ai from the address on your account. We confirm the request with you and complete it within 30 days. If your request concerns data a business collected about its own customers, contact that business — we will help them respond.
18. Children
Eminex is for businesses and is not intended for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
19. Grievance officer
Under the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you may raise any complaint about how your personal information is handled with our Grievance Officer at support@eminex.ai, or by post to Brewcode Technologies Private Limited, #198, CMH Road, 2nd Floor, Desk No. 269, Indiranagar, Bangalore, India – 560038. We resolve complaints within one month of receiving them.
20. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. We will post the new version here with a new date, and notify you by email of material changes before they take effect.
